All platforms that WaveSecure supports except Symbian (S60) use WiFi to backup if available. Much requested for by Symbian users through unofficial channels. Please vote up if you think it should be done

Agreed. We’ll still use a fall back to Cell ID in case we can’t get a GPS fix from the phone (such as when your phone is indoors).
Update: Android and Windows Mobile versions of WaveSecure already have this. Symbian coming soon.

Unfortunately, we cannot force enable GPS from Android 1.5 onwards because Google closed the API to 3rd party developers (presumably to conserve the user’s battery). We can only do it if we are a system app, so root access won’t help either.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do currently – unless you are willing to cook your ROM and add us as a system app!

We’re going to add support for French, German, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Spanish (Spain) for all platforms. WaveSecure for Symbian will be localized in the following additional languages – Thai, Bahasa Indonesia and Spanish (Lat. Am).
