  Also add this: Remotely tell the phone to take a picture the next time the screen turns on.

  That or a function similar to it.

  I ask this since I'm against the use of remote locking. I want the thief to keep the phone and use it. Not to throw it away because it's locked...

  I'm posting almost after an year now. Most of the phones have front cameras. And like one of the commenter said, about using the rear cam, which is a total B*** S***, what if the phone cam's got a manual shutter? But again, the PIN entry count should be considered... I don't want my own picture on the web and bear the data charges if i do a mistype for more than one time or so...

  https://trackandprotect.com has this functionality and it's working perfectly. I'm really waiting to see it on WaveSecure. I really don't understand why it takes soo long to make it available...

  It is very easy to add a function to check if camera or two exists, and be able to capture from one or both... Would have to be uploaded through data network/wifi access though.. Or maybe mms the picture back to wavesecure would be better? hmm...

  i agree with this, this will be awesome, specially useful if you go out with bunch of friends and one of the culprit stole ur phone, also will be useful upon lodging a police report

  My phone doesnt have a front camera BUT I would definitely want the app to take pictures with the rear camera... you might get some good evidence.
