Add GPS location
I think WaveSecure location tracking uses GSM information like Cell ID right now and it can get quite inaccurate. Can you guys pls add GPS so that I can improve the accuracy of the location of my phone?
Agreed. We’ll still use a fall back to Cell ID in case we can’t get a GPS fix from the phone (such as when your phone is indoors).
Update: Android and Windows Mobile versions of WaveSecure already have this. Symbian coming soon.
Update 2:: Symbian done as well. Download the latest version from http://m.wavesecure.com

We don't show address currently, you should start seeing it in a couple of weeks though

I'm running Android and I'm still only getting the tower id. should I be seeing the coords and/or approx. address? It locates me perfectly visually on the map, just doesn't give me the address.

Unfortunately, we cannot force enable GPS from Android 1.5 onwards because Google closed the API to 3rd party developers (presumably to conserve the user's battery). We can only do it if we are a system app, so root access won't help either.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do currently - unless you are willing to cook your ROM and add us as a system app!

Can you not force enable GPS to get a better fix? (or does that rely on root/admin access?)
My phone (HTC Hero) is rooted but only uses cell location when tracked, never GPS (which is typically disabled)
